IRD Ops Privacy Policy

Information we collect

IRD Ops may process information provided directly by authorized users, including account information, work-related records, notes, tasks, project information, client and customer information, and other information entered into the service.

IRD Ops may also receive information from business services that an authorized user or administrator connects to the platform. Depending on the integrations enabled, this may include information from services such as QuickBooks Online, Microsoft services, and other business systems.

When QuickBooks Online is connected, IRD Ops may retrieve accounting and financial information authorized through the QuickBooks connection, which may include company information, accounts, transactions, customers, vendors, invoices, and financial reports.

IRD Ops may also collect technical information necessary to operate and secure the service, such as authentication events, application logs, error information, device or browser information, and security-related events.

How we use information

We use information processed through IRD Ops to:

• operate and provide IRD Ops;
• organize and display business and operational information;
• provide reporting, analytics, and workflow functionality;
• synchronize information from authorized third-party services;
• maintain security, troubleshoot problems, and improve reliability;
• maintain operational and audit records; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

Information obtained through QuickBooks Online is used to provide financial and operational functionality within IRD Ops and is not sold or used for advertising.

Third-party services

IRD Ops may connect to third-party services when authorized by IRD or an authorized user. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.

Access to QuickBooks Online is authorized using Intuit’s OAuth authentication process. IRD Ops does not require users to provide their QuickBooks password to IRD Ops.

Service providers

We may use service providers to host, secure, maintain, and operate IRD Ops. These providers may process information only as necessary to provide their services to us and subject to applicable contractual and security obligations.

Data retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate IRD Ops, maintain legitimate business records, satisfy legal or contractual obligations, and protect the security and integrity of our systems.

When a third-party integration is disconnected, authorization credentials associated with that connection may be revoked or deleted as appropriate. Business records previously obtained through an authorized integration may be retained when necessary for legitimate business, accounting, audit, or legal purposes.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information processed through IRD Ops. Access to IRD Ops is restricted to authorized users.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Sale of information

IRD does not sell personal information processed through IRD Ops.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as IRD Ops and its integrations evolve. The effective date at the top of this page will indicate when the policy was most recently updated.
